    		Elizabeth Turvey Brown Missing since February 21, 1977 from Kitty Hawk, Dare County, North Carolina.
    • Date Of Birth: April 4, 1923

    • Distinguishing Characteristics: Auburn hair; hazel eyes.
    • Medical Information: Diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. Under treatment at time of disappearance.

    Circumstances of Disappearance
    Brown's home was in Rocky Mt., NC, but her vehicle was found at Kitty Hawk with purse & jacket. She was last known to have stopped for directions to Virginia Beach.
    Neither Rocky Mt. nor Manteo Police departments can locate previous reports. A New Jersey (daughter's then residence) Missing Persons Detective advised she was entered in NCIC as endangered in 1989, but the entry can't be located.

    		Donna Michele Barnhill Missing since March 18, 1981 from Lexington, Davidson County, North Carolina

    Banhill left her family's home at 8:30 PM on March 18, 1981 to walk to a nearby friend's house. She never arrived and has not been seen since.

    		Amy Danielle Gibson Missing since December 17, 1990 from Greensboro, Guilford County, North Carolina.

         Vital Statistics
  • Date Of Birth: May 12, 1975
  • Age at Time of Disappearance: 15 years old
  • Height and Weight at Time of Disappearance: 5'7; 150 pounds
  • Distinguishing Characteristics: White female. Brown hair; brown eyes.
  • Dental: Gibson had extensive dental work done.
    Circumstances of Disappearance
    Gibson was last seen leaving her Greensboro, North Carolina home on December 17, 1990. She planned to walk up the street for a brief period of time and never returned home. She did not bring any belongings with her.
    It was not the first time Amy left home. Her mother had reported her missing four other times. But each time, Amy was found or came back within a couple of days. This time, she left no trace. Extensive searches unearthed few clues as to her whereabouts; she has never been heard from again.
    Periodic searches of her social security number and DMV records indicate that she has not worked or received a drivers liscense / non-driver identification since her dissapearance.

    		Angela Gray Hamby Missing since October 29, 1982 from Wilkesboro, Wilkes County, North Carolina
    • Date Of Birth: 1962
    • Age at Time of Disappearance: 20 years old
    • Height and Weight at Time of Disappearance: 5'4"; 108 lbs.
    • Distinguishing Characteristics: White female. Dark blonde hair; Blueish green eyes.
    • Clothing: Cream V-neck sweater with orchid button up sweater on top and blue jeans.

    Circumstances of Disappearance
    Dependable young lady left home to pay a car payment. Her mom told her not to be late because they were supposed to go shopping. Hamby replied she wouldn't be late. She never returned home.
    Her car was found at a local business with the tank full of gas and the keys gone but her pocketbook with ID was left in car. Car was a silver mazda. Angela was thought to have been seen last around 11:30 am with a rough looking blond man driving her car at the location of where the car was found. Angela had no ID with her.

    		Sandra Kay Randall Ross Missing since January 8, 1984 from Apex, Wake County, North Carolina.
  • Date Of Birth: February 6, 1952
  • Age at Time of Disappearance: 31 years old
  • Height and Weight at Time of Disappearance: 5'4; 120 pounds
  • Distinguishing Characteristics: White female. Brown hair; brown eyes.
  • Marks, Scars: Ross has a mole on her lower left cheek.
  • Clothing: Ross was last seen wearing tan cordaroy pants and a burgandy sweater and carrying a wine colored purse.
    Circumstances of Disappearance
    Ross was last seen on January 8, 1984 in her hometown of Apex, North Carolina.
    Her husband informed authorities that she left their home to drive to the local drugstore around 12:00 PM that day to purchase medicine for their daughter, who was ill. When Ross failed to return home in an hour, her husband stated that he drove to the drugstore himself and discovered her car abandoned in the parking lot of the Cary Village Mall, now called Cary Towne Center. Ross has never been seen nor heard from again.
    Ross was employed as a nurse at the time of her disappearance. Her family has stated that it would be uncharacteristic of her to simply leave her loved ones without any forewarning of her plans. Ross' mother claims that her daughter gave her some indication that "something" was amiss in her life at the time she vanished, but her mother has declined to publicly state what that problem may have been.
